This conference is premised on the idea that oppression is bad.

Devil’s advocate approaches are not appropriate for this conference.

If you have a question and you are not sure if it is adding to the conversation, write down your question and think about it.

We are a group of students dedicated towards anti-oppression pedagogy and praxis (curriculum and education) within medical education.

This conference introduces topics that can be sensitive and emotive. Please, be mindful of your co-participants throughout the sessions. 

  • We do not pressure anyone to disclose their pronouns.

  • We do not pressure anyone to disclose their name.

  • It is important to apologize if an error is made.

  • White supremacy is not tolerated in this conference.

  • No one’s humanity is ever debated.
